Dr. Vladimir Tismensky

Dr. Vladimir Tismensky is a native of Riga, Latvia. He moved to the Detroit metropolitan area in 1991. Subsequent to graduation from the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School, Dr. Tismensky entered the Endodontics Residency Program at the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics, Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, P.A. He was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, in 1999.

Dr. Tismensky has been in private practice as an Endodontist in Bloomfield Hills, Mi. since 2001, prior to relocating to Chicago in 2007. He has taught Endodontic surgical techniques to endodontic residents as a part time faculty member at Detroit Mercy Dental School. Dr. Tismensky is active in numerous dental and endodontics organizations and he has presented his research at national table clinics, county meetings and local study clubs. His special expertise includes complex non-surgical re-treatments and microscopic Endodontic surgery.

Dr. Tismensky speaks fluent English, Russian, and Latvian. In his free time he enjoys downhill skiing, tennis and weightlifting. He resides in Chicago with his wife and young son.
